Chadwick Moore’s intensely elaborate work shifts between drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture. Using a wide range of components - from discarded infant formula bottles and abandoned furniture, to collage imagery from both found and personally taken photographs - he builds a dense palette to create psychological landscapes. Chadwick received an MFA in Painting from The San Francisco Art Institute in 2004, a BFA also in Painting from the University of Georgia in 1999 and has exhibited throughout the United States. Born in 1975 in Georgia, he has lived in the Bay Area for the past eighteen years. Currently he spends his time between Oakland, CA and his wife’s home in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When not in the studio, he is caring for his three-year-old daughter.
