Chadwick Moore’s intensely elaborate work shifts between drawing, painting, collage and sculpture. Using a wide range of components -from discarded infant formula bottles and abandon furniture, to collage imagery from both found and personally taken photographs- he builds a dense palette to create psychological landscapes. Chadwick received an MFA in Painting from The San Francisco Art Institute in 2004, a BFA also in Painting from the University of Georgia in 1999 and has exhibited throughout the United States. Born in 1975 in Georgia, he has lived in the Bay Area for the past eighteen years. When not in the studio, Chadwick is caring for his daughter or attempting not to ruin another dinner for his wife at home in Oakland, CA.
